Safety Planning
It is common practice to perform job safety evaluations before commencing work on any project or contract in order to take preventative measures that will reduce the likelihood of accidents occurring. A safety kick-off meeting is held on the first day, during which expectations are discussed about staging, different sites for entering and exiting, and communication.
Training
Every driver, regardless of whether they are Company Drivers, Owner Operators, or Independent Carriers, receives expert training on a variety of topics, ranging from how to respond to spills to how to manage tiredness, both when they first begin working with us and during their entire career. This training goes above and beyond the criteria set by the industry, and it includes road testing and semi-annual assessments.
Equipment Maintenance
To guarantee that our drivers are providing excellent customer service and to check licenses, logbooks, daily trip inspections, safety equipment, documentation, and personal protective equipment (PPE), our safety team undertakes frequent unannounced visits to job sites.
